Juvelook is an Advanced Hybrid Dermal Biostimulator — a category of treatment distinct from both traditional dermal fillers and standard skin boosters. It combines two powerful active ingredients into a single injectable treatment:
Unlike filler-grade HA (which is crosslinked to add volume), the HA in Juvelook is non-crosslinked — designed to integrate into the tissue and provide immediate, deep hydration. It attracts and retains water within the skin, creating an instant improvement in luminosity and suppleness.
Poly D,L-lactic acid microspheres act as a long-term collagen biostimulator. Once injected, they trigger the skin's own fibroblast cells to produce new collagen and elastin — progressively improving firmness, elasticity and skin density over weeks and months.
This dual-action approach means Juvelook delivers two phases of results: an immediate glow and hydration boost, followed by a gradual and sustained improvement in skin structure as the body's own collagen rebuilds. Crucially, it does this without adding volume — the result is a natural, refined improvement in skin quality rather than a filled or augmented appearance.
Juvelook is particularly effective for the under-eye area (Juvelook Eyes is a dedicated formulation for the delicate periorbital skin), the face and the neck.
Juvelook is well suited to adults at any stage of the skin ageing journey — from those wanting to preserve and protect their skin quality in their thirties, to those seeking genuine rejuvenation in their fifties and beyond.
Clare uses Juvelook as part of a considered skin health programme rather than as a standalone quick fix. At your consultation she will assess your skin quality, discuss your concerns and explain exactly what Juvelook can and cannot achieve for you — and whether it is the most appropriate treatment for your individual needs.
For the under-eye area, Clare uses Juvelook Eyes — a formulation specifically designed for the thin, delicate periorbital skin — using a careful microinjection technique that minimises bruising and swelling. For the face and neck, she uses a fanning or blanching technique to ensure even distribution across the treatment zone.
Clare recommends a course of 3 sessions, 4–6 weeks apart, to build the biostimulating effect progressively. Results from a course are significantly greater than from a single session, and continue to develop for several months after the final treatment as collagen remodelling takes place.
Juvelook has a good safety profile. As with any injectable treatment, side effects are possible — Clare discusses these fully at consultation before any treatment takes place.
Avoid touching or rubbing the treated area for 24 hours. Do not apply make-up, exercise strenuously, drink alcohol or expose the skin to heat or sun for 24 hours after treatment. Use SPF daily — particularly important as the skin is in an active repair state. Results develop gradually: expect noticeable improvement from 4–6 weeks, with the full benefit apparent at 3–4 months.
PDLLA (Poly D,L-lactic acid) and PLLA (Poly L-lactic acid, used in Sculptra) are both collagen biostimulators — but PDLLA has a different molecular structure that results in a faster degradation and a smoother, more homogeneous tissue integration. Juvelook's PDLLA microspheres are designed to disperse evenly within the skin, producing a more uniform collagen-stimulating effect with a lower risk of nodule formation compared to PLLA products.
No. Juvelook does not add volume in the way a traditional hyaluronic acid filler does. The HA in Juvelook is non-crosslinked — meaning it is not designed to sit and fill a space, but to provide immediate hydration while the PDLLA microspheres stimulate your own collagen. The result is improved skin quality, firmness and glow — not added structure or projection.
Clare recommends a course of 3 sessions, spaced 4–6 weeks apart, for optimal collagen stimulation and skin transformation. Results continue to improve for several months after the final session as collagen remodelling progresses.
You will notice an improvement in hydration and skin glow within a few days of your first session. The deeper biostimulating effect — improved firmness and elasticity — develops gradually over 8–12 weeks as new collagen is produced.
After a course of 3 sessions, results typically last 12–18 months. Clare recommends a maintenance session once or twice a year thereafter to sustain the collagen-stimulating effect.
Yes — Juvelook works very well alongside other treatments. Clare often combines it with Microtox (for skin texture and pore refinement) and wrinkle reducing treatments as part of a comprehensive skin health programme. It can also be delivered via microneedling for enhanced absorption.
Juvelook is suitable for most skin types and tones. Clare will assess your skin thoroughly at consultation to confirm suitability and discuss the right treatment plan for your individual concerns.
Juvelook is £250 per session, or £600 for a course of 3. When combined with microneedling, prices start from £375. Full pricing is on the pricing page.
